Newark, NJ, June 25, 2003 – IDT Media is pleased to announce that Trang Nguyen, Chief Operating Officer of Talk America Radio Networks, has made Radio Ink Magazine’s annual list of the 50 Most Influential Women in Radio. Talk America is a unit of IDT Media, a subsidiary of IDT Corporation (NYSE:IDT, IDT.C), a multinational carrier, telephone and technology company.

Trang Nguyen’s career in media and broadcasting includes positions as a news and feature writer, producer and TV anchorwoman for Little Saigon TV & Radio, a Vietnamese language broadcast company of which she was a co-founder. She was appointed Chief Operating Officer of Talk America Radio Networks in June of 2002.
“We’re very proud of Trang,” said Jim Courter, IDT’s CEO. “She reminds us that the American Dream remains a reality for individuals with talent, determination and a willingness to work hard.”
As the COO of Talk America Radio Network, Trang has more than doubled affiliate stations, tripled the network audience, and increased ad revenue fivefold. Under her direction Talk America launched a new weekend lineup, added talk show host Geoff Metcalf to the programming schedule, and reached a broadcast agreement with Music of Your Life Radio Networks to carry Talk America short features.
“Trang is leading Talk America toward solid growth and revenue,” said Mitch Burg, IDT Media’s CEO. “She has outlined a clear direction for expansion that will transform Talk America Radio Networks into a major source of talk and information programming.”
